He is survived by: his wife Ruth Helen Legan of De Soto; his son Howard Lee "Butch" Hicks (Linda) of De Soto; his granddaughters, Shelia Snyder (Darren) of Carbondale and Amy; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Snyder, J. J. Snyder, Montana and Gracie Taylor.
