With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William McCloskey of Huntley, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on December 6, 2024 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Janet McCloskey, (Valentine) and Rev. Robert J. McCloskey, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Lynn; his sisters, Kathleen Krukonis and Christine McCloskey; his grandson Dylan Wilken; his wife Jeannie Murray Costin; his stepchildren, Kelly Demuth (Daniel) and Casey Vanderweel (Matthew); his stepgrandchildren, Maya, Jahsiah and Athena Demuth; and his stepchildren, Caitlin Draftz, Madison, McKayla and Maisy Vanderweel. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church of Huntley (10307 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
