Victor Oxby Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Victor Oxby of Huntley, Illinois, who passed away on November 17, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Oxby and Mary Alda Oxby (Ringham); his daughter Linda Oxby; and his siblings, Mildred Chesser, Charles Oxby, Gene Oxby, Ruth Oxby and Violet Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Farreline Hunley; his sons, Michael Oxby (Marilyn) and Roger Oxby (Susan); his granddaughters, Kristin Wenz (Michael), Kathryn Kittelson (Graig), Katie Oxby and Emily Pope (Brad); and his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Grace, Annie, Luella and Cora.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the DeFiore Funeral Home (10763 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or the Blue Mound Food Pantry.
