He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Jasinski and Angelina Jasinski (Jason); his wife Barbara Lee Carney; and his brother Richard Jason. He is survived by: his children, Susan DeGuide (John), Pamela Johnson and Brian Jason (Erin); his grandchildren, Chris, Ali, Alyssa, Andy, Stephen, Parker and Riley; his pet Caaasper; his brother Nick Jason (Sherri); his sister-in-law Barb "Lulu" Jason; and also Sonny. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
