He is survived by: his wife Deanna Hendren (Lombardo); his daughters, Danielle Kreke (William) and Marielle Nelson (Mark); his grandsons, Brandon and Quinton Nelson; and his siblings, Steven Hendren (Corba), Carol Wolf (James), David Hendren (Winnie), Barbara Wilson (James) and Deborah Gustafson (Charles). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tom's name can be made to Veterans Path to Hope and Alzheimer's Association.
