She was predeceased by: her father Franciszek Gadek. She is survived by: her mother Stanistawa Gadek; her husband John Sowa; her sons, Adam Sowa and Charlie Sowa; her siblings, Marian Gadek and Bogumila Kochanek (Chris); and her godchildren, Mia and Mitchell. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and great nephews.
