He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Janson and Florence V. Janson (Shaw); his son James; his brother James; and his grandson Michael Florence.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Hansen Janson; his children, Elizabeth Florence (Mark), Jo Ann Shircliff (Jay), Michael Janson (Julie) and Lisa Riedl (Warren); and his sister Elizabeth (Joseph Burke). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
