With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. Zakes (Huntley, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 23, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Zakes and Edna Zakes; and his sister Susan Dank. He is survived by: his wife Marie R. Lomeo; his children, Laura Cubelic (Michael) and Richard, Jr. Zakes (Ardith); and his grandchildren, Nathan (Shannon), Nicholas, Benjamin, Bee, Joseph, Kristen and Daniel.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
