It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Remedios R. Escalona of Huntley, Illinois, who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arsenio Reyes and Florentina Reyes; her sister Isabel; her brother-in-law Honorio David; her brother Guillermo; her siblings-in-law, Virginia Reyes and Edilberto Loleng; her brothers, Remigio, Flordeliza (Reyes) and Manuel Reyes; her brother-in-law Renato Guy; and her nieces, Mildred (Reyes) and Miriam.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Manuel Escalona Jr. (Manny); her children, Emmanuel (Maggie) and Dr. Yolanda (Paul Oland); her granddaughter Dr. Maria Estela (Estel); and her siblings, Natividad Loleng, Corazon Reyes of Gloria Reyes, MD, Arsenia Guy and Edgardo Reyes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
