He is survived by: his wife Susan Otto; his children, Laura Zappitelli (Fran), Erin Carey (Paul), Bridget Mulcahy, Michael Mulcahy (Heather) and Kate Mulcahy (Dom DiPasquale); his grandchildren, Adelle Burton, Lauren Zappitelli, Kara Zappitelli, Margaret Wickersham, Julie Zappitelli, Mackenzie Wickersham, Colin Carey, Ryan Carey, Finn Mulcahy, Maeve Mulcahy, Nunzio DiPasquale, Weylin Mulcahy, Talulla Mulcahy and Iris DiPasquale; and his siblings, Eileen Mulcahy, James Mulcahy and Maurice Mulcahy (Bud).
