He was predeceased by: his parents, William Farrar and Laverne Farrar; his wife Epifania Maria Rangel; and his brother Steven. He is survived by: his children, Michael Farrar (Michelle), Matthew Farrar, Michelle Huff (Jordan), Jennifer Farrar, Christine Sumner (Chris) and Gia Farrar; his grandchildren, Gabriella, Dontae, Brandon, Breanna, Michael III, Hunter, Kimari, Liam, Grace and Aiden; his siblings, William, Jr. Farrar (Connie) and Jean Marie Doyle (William); and his godchildren, Ronnie Tomasek and Samantha Farrar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
