She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tagtmeier and Laura Tagtmeier; her son Richard Long; her granddaughter Krystal Long; her great grandchild Brandon Traylor; and her brothers, William Tagtmeier (Jene) and Lt. Roy Tagtmeier.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Long; her children, Diane Van Antwerp (Thomas) and Daniel Long; and her grandchildren, Tom Van Antwerp, Reverend Paul Van Antwerp, Laura Kienzler (Jeff), Tanya Traylor (Nick), Dr. Daniel Long (Brittney), Stephanie Epling (Justin) and Derek Long. She is also survived by her 15 great grandchildren, her six great, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
