Lillian Bissing Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Bissing of Huntley, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Bissing and Henrietta Bissing (Wajerski); and her cousins, Carol Chatroop, Ernie Grant and Chris Fiegle.

She is survived by: her sister Linda Knopsnyder (Paxton); her niece Heather Schady (Tom); her nephew Jason Knopsnyder (Stephanie); her cousins, Jeanne Wilson, Nancy Parochelli (Louis), Janet Hohn and Theresa Cinquegrani (James); and also, Stephanie and Tom.

She was a long time volunteer as a docent at the Woodstock Opera House, and donated a selection of her rare and gorgeous lilies to the Dole Mansion.
