With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph F. Walter of Huntley, Illinois, who passed away on June 16, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Walter and Eleanor Walter; his wife Audrey Biesterfeld; and his siblings, Paul, Jerry and Theresa.

He is survived by: his daughter Pam Nelson (Keith); his grandchildren, Lauren Williams (Cory) and Eric Nelson (Becca); his great grandchild Mackenzie Rose; his sisters, Caryl LaPorte (Mario) and Mary Jane Pangallo (Edmund); and his sister-in-law Patricia Walter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
