He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Darlene "Dee" Zimmerman; his son William T. Zimmerman (Kelsey Wilkinson); his parents, Clifford Zimmerman and Harriet Zimmerman; his son John R. Zimmerman, Jr. (Courtney); his grandchildren, Alyssa, John R. "Jax" III and Grace; his siblings, Tom Zimmerman (Mary Alice) and Ann Morrow; and his nieces, Dana Murphy (Michael) and Robin Zimmerman.
