She was predeceased by: her father Rudolph Schwarz; and her siblings, Norine, Patricia, Steve and John.
She is survived by: her husband George Flinn; her children, Laura Sullivan (late Rich), George Flinn Jr. (Mary), Terri Kolner (Tom), Diane Conrad (David), John Flinn (Mary), Tom Flinn and Karyn Thompson (Christopher); her siblings, Rudolph, George and Stephanie; and her friend Ernie. She is also survived by her husband, children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made in Joan's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or On Angel's Wings Animal Rescue in Crystal Lake.
