It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Paul Verbeck of Huntley, Illinois, born in Geneseo, Illinois, who passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Verbeck and Grace Verbeck; his siblings, Paul and Mary Carol; and his wife Caroline Anne Storm of Algonquin, Illinois..
He is survived by: his daughters, Nora Lee Zeller (Timothy), Katie Gazdacka (George) and Joyce Turnipseed (Ken); his grandchildren, Calen, Ryan (Hannah), Sara (Nick), Katelyn, Josh, Elyce and Matt; and his great grandchild Samantha. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the DeFiore Funeral Home (10763 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
