James D. Nierman Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James D. Nierman of Huntley, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Jim" Nierman and Elaine Nierman (Rickert); and his brother Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Joan Gruetzmacher; his children, James, Jeffrey (Kelly) and Julie; his granddaughters, Emma, Claudia (Asa) and Clarissa; and his brother Kelvin.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marengo-Union Funeral Home (505 E Grant Hwy, Marengo, IL 60152).
