He was predeceased by: his brother Winfried Pfeiffer; and his pet Gonzo. He is survived by: his children, Tim Pfeiffer (Mary), Mark Pfeiffer (Nicolletta), Julia Ochal (Richard), Annemarie O'Connor and Jennifer Girardi (James Legowski); his grandchildren, Erika Pfeiffer, Mariah Pfeiffer, Ian Pfeiffer (Amber), Jessica Mesa (Jordan), Emma Pfeiffer, Rebecca Ochal, Sarah Ochal, Kyle O'Connor, Brandon O'Connor (Jennifer), Kelly O'Connor and Daniel Legowski; his great grandchildren, Niko Mesa, Faith, Brian and Everleigh O'Connor; his siblings, Dieter Pfeiffer and Gisela Sarracchia (Tony); and his niece Ramona Treptow.
