He was predeceased by: his parents, Heman "Lefty" Bangs and Roselle Margaret Gardner. He is survived by: his son Todd Gerald Gardner (Consuelo Victoria) of San Jose, CA; his grandchildren, Trivity Gail Gardner of San Jose, CA and Noah Gerald Gardner; his brother Raymond Cecil Gardner (Sandy) of Bradenton, FL.; his sister-in-law Cele "Toots" Gardner of Burlington, WI; his significant other Sally Retek of Huntley; his significant other's children, Mike Retek (Sue), Joe Retek (Debi) and Toni Feltson (Roy); and also, Jeremy (Katie), Kyle (Vanessa), Joe (Havilah), Yesi (Julian), Samantha (Nick) and Destinee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many cherished friends.
