George Schumer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Schumer in Huntley, Illinois, born in Evanston, Illinois, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Donald Schumer (Patricia), Raymond Schumer and James Schumer. He is survived by: his children, Richard Schumer (Patricia), Judith Schumer, Therese Riffey and Ashlie Alvarado; his grandchildren, Lilyanna, Scarlet, Margaret and Brenna; and his brother Edward Schumer (Sarah). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 5, 2020 in the funeral home chapel. (Social distancing and face coverings will be our shared practice during the visitation at the funeral home.).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Heart Association or to The Catholic Charities of Chicago.
