We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2024 we had to say goodbye to George J. Burger Jr. of Huntley, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Burger Sr. and Helen Burger (Dragivich); and his brother Thomas Burger. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his sons, George W. Burger (Kristin), Brian Burger (Erika) and Scott Burger (Lisa); his sister Kathy Thielen (Donald); and his grandchildren, Megan, Emily, Kathryn, Taylor, Ainsley, Abigail and Brayden.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the DeFiore Funeral Home (10763 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A prayer will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (10307 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are recommended to Huntley American Legion Post #673 or the Wounded Warrior Project.
