He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Bender and Mary Bender (Herbert); and his stepparents, Wayne Neff and Gladys Bender. He is survived by: his wife Colleen Bender; his children, Jeffrey Bender (Shekira) and Marcey Kolb (Robert); his sisters, Vicky Bertrand and Debbie Rohmann; and his grandchildren, Jenna Moorman, Trent Moorman, Bryce Moorman, Fredrick Bender, Charles Bender, Haley Kolb and Dylan Kolb.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Prairie Church (10805 Main St, Huntley, IL 60142). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations are suggested to Shepherd of the Prairie Church and JourneyCare Hospice through the Addus Hope Foundation.
