He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Hermes and Lillian Hermes (Manke); his wife June Petra Johnsen; his children, David Hermes, Jill Hermes and Caryn Irwin (Randy); his grandchildren, Julie Bowler (Bates), Lucca Hermes, Caylin Garduno, Nicolas Vaughn (Lauren), Taylor Irwin and Erik Vaughn; his great grandchildren, Emelia Henaghan, Isaiah, Jezyiah Garduno and Magnolia Bowler; and his sister June Marie.
