He was predeceased by: his parents, Alejo Caraballo and Crusita Caraballo (Nee Nunez). He is survived by: his children, Megan Basten (Brian) and Nicholas E. Caraballo; his fiancée Diana Reece; his stepson Joey Reece; his godsons, Treyton and Daniel Ortiz; his siblings, Mary Mercado (Michael), Josephine Ortiz (Salvador), Maribelle Petsinger (Michael), Alex Caraballo, Jimmy Caraballo (Michelle) and Lisa Caraballo; and his pet Shadow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Eddie's name can be directed to the family.
