He is survived by: his children, Emily Mierzejewski (Tom), Phillip Lia (Annie) and Andrew Lia (Jenny); his stepdaughter Megan Adam (Jeff); his brothers, Richard Lia (Gail) and Michael Lia (Jean); and his grandchildren, Anna, Alivia, Daniel, Victoria, Jackson, Matthew, Griffin, Kaylee and Jack.

Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
