He was predeceased by: his brother James Lia (Jennifer); and his grandson Jackie Lia. He is survived by: his children, Emily Mierzejewski (Tom), Phillip Lia (Annie) and Andrew Lia (Jenny); his stepdaughter Megan Adam (Jeff); his brothers, Richard Lia (Gail) and Michael Lia (Jean); and his grandchildren, Anna, Alivia, Daniel, Victoria, Jackson, Matthew, Griffin, Kaylee and Jack.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeFiore Funeral Home (10763 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A prayer will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
