It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dolores Wolpoff of Huntley, Illinois, born in Nokomis, Illinois, who passed away on April 26, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Michalowski and Katherine Michalowski; her husband Leonard; her siblings, Walter, Margaret, Grace and Marion; and her grandson James Louis.

She is survived by: her children, Traycee Simon (Thomas), Cynthia Hayes (Roger) and Gregg Wolpoff (Victoria); and her grandchildren, Dana Hayes, Theresa Simon, Erin Hayes, Jacob Simon, Mark Wolpoff, Matthew Wolpoff and Mason Wolpoff. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I am married to one of Jack Gryczka’s grandsons and have had the pleasure of spending time with Dolores. I am so sorry for your loss. Dolores was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was always so warm and inviting and just a joy to be around. When we went on a cruise with the whole Gryczka family we came down for dinner one night and both were wearing the same vest! Haha it was so funny. Very stylish! She will truly be missed! I will be praying for your family.”
