He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia; and his siblings, Joseph and Adrian Shuster For. He is survived by: his parents, Anthony Schubert and Catherine Schubert; his children, James Schubert (Pamela), Thomas Schubert (Karen), Daniel Schubert (Fergus), Paul Schubert (Wendy) and Lisa Fosnot (Michael); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Joseph, Joshua (Christina), Christopher, Matthew, Andrew, Jacob and Peter; and his great grandchildren, Frankie and Clark. He is also survived by husband, father and grandfather.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Alzheimer's Association Gene was born September 18, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Anthony and Catherine Schubert.
