He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde McLaughlin and Verna McLaughlin (Johnson) of Melvin, IL.; his pet Hospitals; his wife Joy; his children, Chad, Beth, Heather Smith (Jeff), Marcie Marquis (Dan) and Megan Hernandez (Chris); his grandchildren, Ethan, Aaron, Aidan Hailey, Grant, Madison, Lauren Smith, Noah, Abby, Jude Arsenault, Wyatt Marquis, Keily and Hope Hernandez; and his stepchildren, Greg Wicklas (Sharon), Holly Wicklas, Jill Kruger (Fred), Julie Dooley (John) and Brad Wicklas (Tamera).
