He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fruin and Marion Fruin (Schiesher); his brother Roger Fruin; his in-laws, Hughie and Vera Rasmusen; and his brothers-in-law, Larry and Ron Rasmusen.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Matt Fruin (Jodi), Nate Fruin (Sam) and Kate Reeves (Adam); his grandchildren, Kylee, Kadeyn, Colten, Tessa, Rylie, Haylie and Aubrey; his siblings, Sylvia Mueller (Ron), Robecca Fruin and Ross Fruin (Carol); his sisters-in-law, Marina Rasmusen and Dorie Rasmusen; and his nephew Grant Fruin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and cherished friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dan's name may be directed to the Grafton Food Pantry, Huntley.
