He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Jelinek and Estelle Jelinek (Novotny); his wife Anne; his daughter Charlotte; and his siblings, Bill, Cecile, Rose and Ed.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Goss (David) of Crystal Lake, Susan Pasilis (Andy) of Orting, John Jelinek (Elizabeth) of Belvidere and Bruce Jelinek (Celeste) of Rockford; and his grandchildren, James, William, Dustin, Sara, Amy, Emily, Jennifer, John, Amanda and Carrie.
