He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Kurek and Mary Kurek. He is survived by: his wife Ruth M. Ash; his children, Kimberly Hoeft (John), Scot Kurek (Kelly), Kevin Kurek (Carrie) and Steven Kurek (Nicole); his grandchildren, Christopher (Allie), Julia (Dylan), Logan, Matt, Colten, Courtney, Kensingtyn, Charlotte, Kamryn and Ethan; his great grandchild Scarlett; and his brother Jozef Kurek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
