She was predeceased by: her parents, Johan Mayerhofer and Lena Mayerhofer (Hollinger); her husband Roy Paul Hansen Jr.; her brother Donald Mayerhofer; and her pets, Shadow and Pepper.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Hansen (Traci) and Kathy Estes; her grandchildren, Rachel, Samantha Ablacinski and Haylee Hansen; her great grandchildren, Savannah Hansen and Braden; and her pet Happy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prairie Lutheran Church (10805 Main St, Huntley, IL 60142). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Huntley Animal Shelter be made in Carol's honor.
