He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Edson Coleman and Genevieve Coleman (Mullen); his brother Brian Coleman; his cousin Craig Mullen; his nephew Brian Kelly; his brother-in-law Jim Kelly; and his parents-in-law, John and Loretta Brislen.

He is survived by: his wife Ann Elizabeth Brislen; his children, Seth Ralph of San Clemente, CA., Egan Russell of Algonquin, IL., Brady Michael (Brittni) of Crystal Lake, IL. and Mae Elizabeth (Amari) of Crystal Lake, IL.; his siblings, Carole Lea (Glen) of Union City, CA., Cathie Kelly of Union City, CA., Barry Coleman of Woodstock, IL., Kelly Coleman (Mary) of Dundee, IL. and Kevin Coleman (Sally) of Wesley Chapel, FL.; his cousins, Sherri Ross (Don) of Calgary and Bryan Mullen (Molly) of Evanston, IL.; his sisters-in-law, Kathy Coleman of Carpentersville, IL., Joan Elms of Carpentersville, IL., Sue Alfrejd (Bruce) of Streamwood, IL. and Jaki Parsons (Richard) of Rockford, IL.; his grandchildren, Elliana, Nash and Anakin; and his stepgranddaughter Lily of Crystal Lake, IL.. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
