She was predeceased by: her parents, Sebastian Oberding and Augusta Oberding; her former husband John Sorbers; her husband John Frank; her siblings, Ruth Weir, Sebastian Oberding, Jr. and Jacob Oberding; her son Jack Sorbers; and her son-in-law Gary Hargrave.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Sorbers of Crystal Lake, Wendy Hargrave of Elgin and Bradley Sorbers of Georgia; her sister-in-law Shirley Oberding; her daughter-in-law Julie Sorbers of Odessa, Texas; and her close friend Jerry Thompson of Huntley. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great grand children and 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
