She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph J. Peters, Sr.; her parents, Harold E. Spellmeyer and Virginia M. Spellmeyer (Knox); and her brother Robert E. Spellmeyer (Marjorie). She is survived by: her children, Ellen Heineman (Dennis), Joseph J. Peters, Jr. (Colleen) and Jason P. Peters (Melissa); her stepson Michael J. Peters; her grandchildren, Kyle, Katie, Jack, Henry, Oliver and Charlie; her stepgrandchildren, Dan, Rick (Anna) and Kris; her sister Audrey Harman (Edward); and her nieces and nephews, Robin Kolar (Scott), Ted Harman (Stephanie), Jill Connor (Don), Sarah Sitter (Mike), Grant Spellmeyer (Sarah) and Neil Spellmeyer (Grace).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent directly to the First Presbyterian Church.
