It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Skinner of Hume, Illinois, born in Tuscola, Illinois, who passed away on February 15, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Don H. Skinner and Anna Powell Skinner; his brothers, Don, Carl and Howard Skinner; and his son-in-law Thomas Sullivan.
He is survived by: his wife LaDonna J. Stickel; his children, Lori Sullivan (James Rhodes) of Westmont and Chad Skinner (Stephanie Waltrip) of Springfield; his grandsons, Andrew Sullivan (Caitlin Ganaway) of Denton, TX, Brendan Sullivan (Becca Dirmeikis) of Lemont, Dillon Skinner (Shelby Craven) of Chatham and Nick Skinner of Springfield; his great grandchild Ellie Grace Sullivan of Denton, TX; and his siblings, Martha Ann Allison (late David) of Oakland and Marshall Lee Skinner (Rita) of Charleston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
