He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Herman and Catherine Bennett Herman; his wife Barbara Herman (Swisher) of Humboldt; his children, Eric Herman (Lydia) of Golf Shores, Alabama, Tonya Herman of Mattoon, Chuck Herman of Mattoon, Laurie Cooley (Rob) of Decatur, Ryan Romine (Nikki) of Atwood and Andy Romine (Gina) of Tuscola; his sisters, Sandy Rigsby of Mattoon, Retha Easton of Fairfield and Sherry Kerz of Sullivan; and his brother-in-law Phil Green of Greenup. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
