He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Owens and Laura Owens (Rhynes); his significant other Pauline Paine (Foutch); and his siblings, Jim Owens, Thomas Owens, Raymond Owens, Irma Williams and Clara Hixenbaugh Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy D. Owens (Shannon) of Vienna, Jason Owens of Paducah, Kentucky and Margie Foxworthy (Wallace "Wally") of Summerfield, Illinois; his grandchildren, Dawn Lammers (Brett), Danielle Tibbs (James Cox), Sean King, Chrissy Riddle (Eric), Lindsey Glass, Gordy Muckle and Jamie Owens; his great grandchildren, Wyatt Lammers, Jonathon "Doc" Lammers, Alexis Lammers, Haillie Tibbs, Issabella Tibbs, JoJo Tibbs and Deaclan Riddle; and his sister Rosemary Reichman (Jim) of Richview. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Owens' honor to the Fouts Christian Church Cemetery in Centralia, Illinois and will be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois.
