He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William F. Uphoff and Amelia Knapp Uphoff; his wife Florence Hospelhorn; his grandson Gabe; his daughter-in-law Colleen Collins; his children, Roger Uphoff (Carol) of St. Louis, MO, Roy Uphoff of Hudson, Kathryn Schwoerer (Bloomington), Bruce Uphoff (Ruth) of Leavenworth, KS, Dale Uphoff (Karla) of El Paso and Neal Uphoff (Gail) of Hudson; and his foster daughter Pat Estes of Flanagan. He was also cherished by 27 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
