He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kasten, and Emma Kleine Kasten, Jr.; and his siblings, Gus (Florence), Walter (Viola), Raymond (Alma), Clarence (Frieda), Erwin Kasten (Norma), Pauline Tensmeyer (Raydeen) and Laura Haake (Eldor).
He is survived by: his spouse Ferris L. Creed; his son Steve Kasten (Marge) of Hoyleton; and his grandchildren, Deanne Renken (Ryan), Katie Robinson (Tad), Matt Kasten (Carrie), Ben Kasten (Francee) and Adam Boldt (Lindsey Morin). He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, a son in law Terry Lake and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School or Trinity Lutheran Church Hoyleton.
