Virgil Spenner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2025, at the age of 94, Virgil Spenner of Hoyleton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Spenner and Julia Kleiboeker Spenner; his brothers, Alvin, Earl and Lloyd; and his granddaughter Katie Spenner Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Spenner (Cynthia) of Nashville, Diane Guinzy (Tony) of Richview and Sandra Martin (Allen) of Hoyleton; his grandchildren, Erin Zepp (Kevin), Emily (Kevin Maloy), Traci Tiemann (Adam), Michael Guinzy (Lacey), Jacob and Jamilyn Martin; his great grandchildren, Ben, Katie, Annika Zepp, Brie, Mina Maloy, Lilah, Grant Tiemann and Enzo Guinzy; and his sisters, Linda Windler of New Minden and Lois Bartling (Ronnie) of Nashville.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Hoyleton Trinity Lutheran Church N. Main (205 N Main St, Hoyleton, IL 62803). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School.
