She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav W. Kasten and Florence L. Kasten; her daughter Janet Hermsmeyer; her sister Alverna Nottmeyer (Virgil); her parents-in-law, William and Bertha Hermsmeyer; and her siblings-in-law, Leona Nehrt (Clifford), Anna Nehrt (Elmer), Ellen Kraus (Eric) and Wilbert Hermsmeyer (Shirley).
She is survived by: her husband Edwin Hermsmeyer; her children, Marla Frazier (Tom) of Arnold and Gary Hermsmeyer (Kelli) of Godfrey, IL; her grandchildren, Trent Hermsmeyer (Ashley), Trina Reilmann (Alex), Tom Frazier (Sam) and Landon Perkins (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Iris, Tristan, Lexie, Maelyn, Cora, Easton, Jaxon, Madison and Rylee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family suggests memorial donations to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or to the charity of the donor's choice. Donations will be received at church or through Zieren Funeral Home, 1111 Clinton Street, Carlyle, IL 62231.
