She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Samuel M., Zina M. Smith, Fred Marvin Barnes and Jeanette Rose Barnes Carline (Blaue). She is survived by: her parents, Dr. Samuel M. Smith Jr. and Linda Lea Smith (Barnes) of Irvington; her sister Rachel Smith of Irvington; her aunt Lisa Knipfel (Kevin) of Jonesburg, MO.; her cousins, Kayla Knipfel of Kansas City, MO. and Ryan Knipfel of Kansas City, MO.; her great-aunt Joann Barnes of St. Charles, MO; her great-uncle Melvin Blaue of St. Charles, MO; and her stepgrandfather Ed Carline of Montgomery City, MO..
Memorials may be made to the Centralia Humane Society because Laura loved the family pets or to Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton.
