With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bessie Sprehe of Hoyleton, Illinois, born in Marion, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Leathers and Mary Marie Richards Leathers; her siblings, Tom, Fern Leathers, Isabelle Taylor, Virginia Garrett and Blanch Burge; her grandson Joshua; and her great grandchild Jamie.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Marvin Sprehe of Hoyleton, Christine Molenhour (Mike) of Salem, Vickie Schaeffer (Dean) of Nashville and Kathie Wernsman (Tom) of Centralia; her brother Douglas Leathers (Shirley) of Rock Falls; and her sister-in-law Viola Rueter of Centralia. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren.
