It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Merle Nafziger in Hopedale, Illinois, born in Minier, Illinois, who passed away on July 10, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Nafziger and Emma Oswald Nafziger; his wife Norma Nafziger; and his sister Lila Rutter. He is survived by: his sons, Roger Nafziger (Cindy) of Minier and Gregg Nafziger (Tina) of Minier; his grandchildren, Brett Nafziger (Andrea), Holly Gottschalk (Tim), Loni Steinkamp (Matt) and Blake Nafziger; and his siblings, Vaudrine Cooper of Minier and Donald Nafziger of Sun City, AZ.. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
