He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Pleines and Ruth Brockman Pleines; his brother Kenneth Pleines; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Martin Cremeens and Ed Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Imig; and his siblings-in-law, Carroll Imig (Phyllis) of Hopedale, Judy Howard (Ed) of Peoria and Ruth Pleines of Hopedale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
