She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Cregar and Minnie Cregar (Reinholdt); her siblings, Betty Jane O'Neal, Letty Jean Smith and Arthur Cregar; and her great grandchild David Gregory.
She is survived by: her husband Norman Birkey; her daughters, Michele Birkey of Arlington Heights, IL and Debbie Rassi (Scott) of Bloomington, IL; and her grandchildren, Kaite Gregory (Chris), Daniel Rassi (Germania) and Nathan Rassi (Ariann). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
