Lena Stephenson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lena Stephenson (Hopedale, Illinois), who passed away on May 5, 2010. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Hester Ann Bratcher Smith; her husband Willis "Bill" Stephenson; her son Leroy Glenn; and her daughter-in-law Viola Jean.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Danny Stephenson (Carole) of Mackinaw, Khristy Herrington (Mark) of Wasilla, AK, Robert Stephenson (Mandy) of Mackinaw and Susan Eckhoff (Gary) of Tremont; her great grandchildren, Aimee Rogers, Katie Eckhoff, Heidi and Holly Stephenson; her great great grandchildren, Julian Hayden, Adrian Almond and Bob Wegman; her stepgrandchildren, Danny Power (Shirley), Peggy Liker (Ikey), Michelene Koch (Dennis), Melody Hodgson and Cathy Wiemer (Michael); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Joanna Rhodes, Stacey Brush, Sheena Koehn, Dane Power, Kelly, Kent Liker, Heather Hughbanks, Tommy, Adam Hodgson, Melinda, Cole, Michael Wiemer Jr. and Marie Varnet; and her great great grandchildren, Dalton, Dakota, Magan Brush, Kinzie Rhodes, Avery, Lauren Hughbanks, Baylee, Khloe Morris and Maci Wiemer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be made to Hopedale Nursing Home.
