He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Cross and Frieda Sipp Cross; his wife Ada J. Parsons August; his brother Leland; and his children, Rachel Weis (Tom) of Manitowoc, WI, Sylvia Laidig (Ted) of Mackinaw, Carolyn Hurley (Bruce) of Danvers, Roberta Koonce (Dan) of Mackinaw and Clair Cross (Julie) of Bloomington. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
